Piks is a creative toy designed to develop children's concentration and imagination. It was designed with input from education experts: child psychiatrists, play therapists, etc.
Piks frees the imagination, offering lots of different opportunities for structured or unstructured play, from simple designs to complex constructions. Children can just let themselves be guided by their own boundless creativity.
- Recommended Age: 3-12 Years
- Includes 24 pieces
- How Piks Works:
- 1. The toy comprises 3 sizes of different-coloured silicone cones and various shapes of beechwood boards. You can “Pik” and mix the different pieces to suit yourself! When the cones and boards are placed on top of each other, the silicone grips the wood. It is this grip which makes an infinite number of combinations possible.
- 2. The object of the game is to have fun! Piks can be played alone or with multiple players. You can choose unstructured play and start building the highest or the most original tower.
- For ages 3-4 years, Piks develops co-ordination and basic construction logic and can be used for learning about colours and different materials
- Slightly older children, 5-8 years, can start to have a lot of fun with it, creating things and using their imagination to build stories and characters around them, whilst developing concentration, decision-making and fine motor skills
- Children can also use it for structured or unstructured play, allowing them to express their ideas during creative quiet time
- Older children, 8 years+, can use Piks in a more competitive way: where to place the cones, who can build the highest tower, a spiral staircase, Piks battles, etc.
- Piks is also great for pre-teens who enjoy construction and endless creativity, to play by themselves or with others
- Although Piks is mainly designed for children, teenagers and adults love to play with it too!
